Recommended Read: Gretchen and the Bear

An enchanting tale with a mix of Cinderella and the three bears with a little science fiction thrown in for good measure.

I love how Carrie spins a tale that both takes you on an adventure and tugs at your heart.

This came out last summer (2020) and I decided to pick it up and read it again last month.

I've known Carrie for several years and her books never cease to wow me.

I hope you enjoy it too!

A recommended read: of Goblins and Gold

I know I'm supposed to be writing. 2020 has been a year of putting writer things aside and self care as a mother and an author, my kids always come first. I have two drafts of novels in the works and it's my plan to get them released in 2021. I'm behind and I owe you another excerpt of the Daughters of Cupid series. It's coming. Slowly, but any progress is better than none.

While writing may have been detained, I've been doing a lot of reading lately, and I wanted to share a good read I came across recently. It popped up on my Amazon recommended list and I am glad I gave it a try. While your waiting for another book from me, I thought I'd share some here that I've enjoyed over the past year.

I think you'll like this one.

It's enchanting and a refreshing change from many of the books I've read in the past.

It's a clean fantasy about goblins and all types of fairies, but more so it's about a sister's love and what's she's willing to do in order to save the other. No matter how the goblin king tries to trick her or any of the other courts she's wiser to them all, until she isn't.

I won't give it way any spoilers, you'll have to read it for yourself.

If it were a movie, it'd rate PG.

An Clean Urban Fantasy Romance for Valentine's Day

Back in 2018 the hubby and I went on a tour of Italy and I came up with this idea on the bus ride through the Tuscan countryside. Venice was so beautiful and I hope you all enjoy this new story.
It's a twist of urban fantasy and mythology.

Here's the blurb:

Damen De Santis is about to lose the love of his life, no thanks to Cupid’s poisoned arrow.

Determined to get the woman he loves back, Damen kidnaps Joy, one of Cupid’s daughters, and holds her hostage in exchange for the one he lost.

Joy should have known better than to run off to Venice for the celebration of masks without her sisters to protect her. De Santis is clearly demented, thinking Joy is some kind of love goddess that can fix all his problems. Forced to play along with his scheme to use her to get his lady love back, Joy finds it difficult not to lose her own heart to a descendant of Chaos.

It will take more than the truth to set Joy free of Damen’s plans. She’ll have to embrace her new powers to persuade Damen to fall in love again. But will she use it to free him from heartbreak or seal the deal on revenge toward Cupid?

It's currently on Amazon Kindle and KU.
You can check it out there.
